Class Summary

Yesterday in class we read the poem, "A White Mans Burden" and talked about the different interpretations different people had of it. Some people said it supported imperialism while others said the opposite. We then read poems that were made in response to it, such as "A Poor Mans Burden" and "A Black Mans Burden". Today during class we went to the computer lab. I made a Smithsonian account and started trying to achieve a badge.
